A Rodeo Cowboy's Prayer

Our gracious and heavenly Father, we pause for a moment in our busy lives, mindful and thoughtful of the guidance that you have given us.

As cowboys, Lord, we don't ask for any special favors, we ask only that you let us compete in this arena, as in life's arena. We don't ask to never break a barrier, or to draw a round of steer that's hard to throw, or a chute fighting horse, or a bull that is impossible to ride. We only ask that you help us to compete as honest as the horses we ride and in a manner as clean and pure as the wind that blows across this great land of ours.

So when we do make that last ride that is inevitable for us all to make, to that place up there, where the grass is green and lush and stirrup high, and the water runs cool, clear, and deep -

You'll tell us as we ride in that our entry fees have been paid.

Home	The OSU Rodeo Association Booster Club works in cooperation with Oklahoma State University to provide financial support for the OSU Rodeo Association Team members. In fact, the “Boosters” was formed in 1998 to be the main source of support for the Rodeo Association following the parents and family of the student members themselves. In recent years, the involvement of the Boosters has grown to include fundraising events such as hosting the "Ride for the Brand" Ranch Rodeo and a bull riding and barrel racing event called Beauty and the Beast. There is more on these two events by clicking on the Events item on the menu. The membership is open to anyone from former team members such as Janae Ward, Walt Garrison and Clem McSpadden, to family members of current and former association members, to committed individuals from the Stillwater and surrounding communities. Rodeo is an integral part of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University and the members of the Booster Club are excited to see into the future of competition through the Association members that they support and know that in some way they had a hand in shaping that future. Dues are just $30 a year ($50 for a family or corporate/organizational membership) but the rewards gained from your support of the OSU Rodeo Association are priceless.
